Introducing Sampl

We specialise in helping brands deliver targeted sampling campaigns. Our service (which in these terms will be referred to as ‘our service’ or ‘Sampl’) structure will be laid out through these Terms of Use.

This site is operated by Sampl Technologies Ltd. We are incorporated in England & Wales with company number 13069140 and our registered office at 4th Floor, Park Gate, 161-163 Preston Road, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 6AF, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our website is https://www.sampltech.com/ (the “Website”) and all associated sub-domains.

When using words such as “you” or “your”, we are referring specifically to you.

Whilst anyone is free to view our website, in order to request any samples from us you must accept the Terms of Use set out within this document.

Requesting a sample

You can request a sample or participate in a campaign either via one of our own forms or from a third party website or social media platform. To process your request, you will be required to enter some basic personal information. This allows us to process your request and, where approved, contact you during the campaign to keep you updated and request your feedback.

When you submit your request, our platform uses automated checks to assess the information you provide. Your request may not be approved immediately and may be declined. This could be due to duplicate entries,  incomplete or inaccurate details or due to specific criteria set for the campaign, or product availability.

If your request is approved, you’ll be eligible to receive a sample or to submit a cashback claim, depending on the campaign. Due to the volume of requests we receive we are unable to review or respond to individual queries about approval status or outcomes.

You must accept these Terms before requesting a sample or participating in a campaign. If you do not agree to the Terms, you will not be able to continue. 

Once you have checked the box, you have entered into a contractual agreement with us that you will always abide by the Terms laid out in this document and that the information you provide is accurate and up to date. 

If your request is approved you will receive a confirmation email with the next steps.

You will be asked to accept the Terms every time you make a new request or participate in a campaign.

The data you provide to us will be protected in line with our Privacy Policy, you are also protected by law under the Data Protection Act 2018, which is the UK’s precursor to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we expect from you

You must be aged 18 or over to request a sample or participate in a campaign. If you are aged between 13 and 17, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian. 

Some products may be restricted by age or targeted to specific demographics. As a result, not all samples will be available to everyone. 

By requesting a sample or participating in a campaign, you agree to adhere to the following:

1. You shall not sell or otherwise distribute for profit any of the product samples or other physical goods that we supply to you;
2. You accept responsibility for the fair usage of the products in accordance with any applicable laws;
3. You will ensure that you have read the relevant information pertaining to potential intolerances, allergens, or any other health risks before claiming a sample;
4. You will not use Sampl to distribute unwanted and unsolicited communications (commonly known as ‘spam’);
5. You understand that use of offensive, abusive, or misleading language with regards to leaving feedback or posting on social-media is prohibited;
6. You hereby declare the personal information you have provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge, this includes but is not limited to your name and address;

Additional rules for SamplPay cashback campaigns:

1. You must follow the offer-specific instructions, including when and where to purchase the product.
2. You must upload a valid proof of purchase that clearly shows the retailer, product name, purchase date, and total amount paid. Only one receipt per claim is allowed.
3. You may only submit one cashback claim per person per offer unless the campaign states otherwise.
4. Cashback is only available once your proof of purchase has passed verification checks. Claims may be declined if your receipt is incomplete, unclear, does not match the offer, or appears fraudulent.
5. You must submit your claim before the deadline shown in the campaign.
6. Cashback payments will be made in the stated currency and by the method specified (e.g. bank transfer, PayPal).
7. Participation in a cashback campaign does not guarantee payment unless all terms and verification steps are met.

We reserve the right to restrict access to our website, suspend or terminate your participation in any campaign or use of Our Service immediately if we believe you have intentionally provided incorrect information or do not follow our terms correctly.

You must not bypass or attempt to circumvent any restrictions on the Sampl site.

How we prevent fraud and misuse

To fulfil our mission of making product trials easy and targeted for genuine consumers, we may utilise third-party fraud detection services. This ensures that our limited product samples reach unique, legitimate users rather than automated bots or individuals attempting to bypass campaign limits.

• Information collected: When you interact with our platform, we (or our service providers) may collect technical information about your device. This includes, but is not limited to, browser type, operating system, hardware settings, IP address, and unique device identifiers.
• Purpose of processing: This data is used solely to create a "device fingerprint" or reputation profile. This allows us to identify and block suspicious activity, such as multiple accounts originating from the same device or patterns indicative of fraudulent "professional sampling".
• Third-party disclosure: We share these technical identifiers with our fraud prevention partners (see our subprocessors page for more information). They compare these identifiers against a global database of known fraudulent devices to provide us with a risk assessment.

What you can expect from us

If your request is approved we will endeavour to ensure your samples reach you in a timely fashion and in good condition, although we sometimes may not be able to fulfil this for reasons outside of our control.

For SamplPay cashback campaigns, if your request is approved, you will be invited to purchase the product from an approved retailer and submit a valid proof of purchase. Cashback will only be issued once your claim has passed verification and complies with all campaign terms.

After dispatching your sample, or once your cashback claim has been submitted, we may contact you to:

• Invite you to provide feedback on the experience
• Share more information about the product or brand
• Offer the opportunity to purchase the product, where relevant

Feedback links may contain unique identifiers to help us manage responses securely and avoid duplicates.

You may also receive campaign related information via email, or in some cases via SMS, WhatsApp, or other messaging tools.

When you submit your feedback, you agree to the following:

1. You are leaving a review for a product you have either had delivered to your household or bought using a SamplPay cashback campaign, and was sampled directly by you.
2. Your review is an accurate representation of your experience with the product.
3. Any inappropriate,  offensive or misleading  reviews may result in your being excluded  from future campaigns.
4. You grant permission for us, our brand partners and other third parties to share, publish and distribute your review.
5. We are under no contractual obligation to use your review.
6. You have previously agreed to these Terms and are aware of what they enclose.

Physical samples are provided free of charge where possible, and are subject to availability and approval. Participation in a campaign, including SamplPay cashback campaigns, does not create any legal obligation on our part to supply a product or make payment unless all campaign conditions are met. 

SamplPay claims are only valid for approved participants who complete the required steps, including purchasing the correct product from an approved retailer and submitting a valid proof of purchase by the campaign deadline. Cashback will only be issued once the claim is verified and confirmed to meet all campaign terms.

Nothing in these Terms should be interpreted as a contractual guarantee to supply products or provide rewards. 

From time to time, new features may require updates to these Terms or our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review both periodically to stay informed of any changes.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website, campaigns and the use of the samples or cashback offers, (including, without limitation, any warranties implied by law in respect of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and/or the use of reasonable care and skill). Nothing in these terms will:

• limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence;
• limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
• limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law;
• or exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms seeks to undermine your protections under the laws of England and Wales.

Our Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, Sampl and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Sampl. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may view and/or print pages from www.sampltech.com or any of our subdomains for your own personal use subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You may only use our website for your personal purposes, and you must not use our website for any other purposes. You cannot and will not edit or modify any material on our website without our express permission.

Unless you own or control the relevant rights to the material, you must not:

• Republish material from https://www.sampltech.com or any other sub-domains
• Sell, rent or sub-license material from https://www.sampltech.com or any other sub-domains
• Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from https://www.sampltech.com or any other sub-domains

These Terms

As you’re not signing-up to become a member of Sampl and each sampling activity requires you to accept both the Terms and Privacy Policy before you can request a sample, we do not have to contact you to let you know of any changes to the contract – unless these changes have taken place during a sampling campaign you are part of.

In this case we will contact you in writing via the email address you have provided us. For the purpose of this, we will have deemed the changes understood and accepted within 7 working days of receiving the communication.

This concludes our Terms of Use. Once you click through stating you have accepted our terms and complete your sample request, you will have a binding contract with us until the sampling campaign is over.
